Commissions vary from state to state, however generally speaking are around 2.5% - 3.0% plus GST, except Queensland, where commission is capped by the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 2000 at a maximum of 5% plus GST for the first $18,000 and 2.5% plus GST on the balance of the sale price.
